BETWEEN THE SHEETS

I’ve gone to bed with the river
Do not wake me if it rains
I am cradled in her current
I am puddled in her ripples
The pitter patterns of her brain
I reach out as my hand graces stone
Humbled by her body
Enthralled by her cove
I rest my cheek to her chest
A soft hum
A Melody of deep breaths
I’ve gone to bed with the river
Like a faucet slowly leaking
Flushed in wonder of make believe
I swoon in the valley, between the sheets.
With my dreamboat rocking steady down stream
I am reminded of her kisses from the midst of the breeze.
I am far from alone
Can’t you hear all the chatter of all the pebbles below?Whispering voices of broken stories that will never be told.
I hear you.
I’ve taken the plunge
Engulfed by her request
As the air seeps from my lungs
Freezing cold water complemented by the warm sun
Transported by curves accompanied by her oplancent display
Her fluidity sings
I’m gone but not astray
I’ve gone bed with the River
I’ve set my sail free

HEARTBREAK CONDO

Excerpt from Rains in Bangkok:
You die trying
Trying to love or trying to fight
Owls on perched
With the birds eye view
Couldn’t tell the difference
